Growing up in a single parent household was hard, but I was young so I toke it a lot of things for granted. It happened all so quickly I didn’t know what to expect, nor did I know how to react. It was like one minute my dad was there and the next minute he wasn’t. I never toke a good look at life and realized all of it’s blessings until the day I walked in my mom’s room and seen her in tears and she had to explain to me and my little sister that my dad might have been gone for good and there was no coming back no matter what. So then I asked why, and she didn’t answer. So I asked again and she began to stutter. Then finally she cleared her throat and proceeded to say “Jory your daddy got in an accident riding with some old friends and a being chased by a cop”, and then she broke down in tears.
