1. In Paris research was conducted and this research says that a hormone in the saliva of Gila monsters may hold a treatment for type 2 diabetes and obesity. The research was conducted by Amylin Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Eli Lily and Co. The hormone achieved a reduction in glucose among sufferers of type 2 diabetes.
