Crucifixion

The governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the governor’s palace, and they took of his clothes, I gasped as I witnessed the evidence of Jesus’ abuse, his back was covered in deep cuts, that were still bleeding, caused by the lashings nine-tailed whip and its controller. The guards mocked Jesus by putting a red robe on him, which represented royalty, and made a crown out of skin piercing thorny branches. Jesus groan quietly in pain, trying to keep it in, and his face drained of colour until it became red again as the blood streamed from under his crown and stained his face as they forcefully embedded it on his head. The soldiers place a stick in his right hand and then bowed before making fun of him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” The same words that he is being put to death for.
