Criticisms' of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, a critically acclaimed novel written by author

Ken Kesey, has received positive reviews, based on its unique storyline and

interesting form of narration. Many critics' have given positive feedback on this novel and have

many different views as to why this novel is one to remember. Three examples of things

that caused many critics', such as: Terry Sherwood and Leslie fielder, Northern Illinois

University, Department of English, and Financial Times magazine to take notice are: His

exploitation of metaphor, his comic strip principles and the reason behind Ken Kesey being

remembered as not only a writer, but a cultural figure.

Because of its unique depiction, narration and of course, the first example,
