Critical Thinking and Decision Making
Decisions we make today will define what our life and the lives of others will become. Keep that in mind the next time you’re faced with a decision. As insignificant as it may seem at the time, your choices are always important. If these decisions are so critical, then how do we make sure they are correct? Critical thinking is the procedure we use to aid our decision making process. In the following paragraphs I will discuss the relationship between these two topics and discuss how they have affected my own life.
Critical thinking is defined as “the careful, deliberate determination of whether we should accept, reject, or suspend judgment about a claim, and the degree of confidence with which we accept or reject it” (Moore 192).
