“Every forward step we take we leave some little bit of ourselves behind.” These words were said by J. L. Spalding, and I very much agree to this statement. Two novels that most agree with this statement are Durable Goods, written by Elizabeth Berg, and The Transall Saga, written by Gary Paulsen.
