Crime Prevention (Neighborhood Watch)

To help reduce crime in a high crime neighborhood, a new crime watch program was put into place. To measure the effectiveness of this program data will be collected from local authorities and neighborhood residents of any reported incidents. This will be done over a one year period starting six months into the crime watch program, and then again at the twelve month mark. Residents of the neighborhood will be asked if they seen or reported any suspicious activities or persons. The police will then be asked of any incidents that were reported. The results from each source will then be compared to each other, and then compared to crime reports for the local area.
