Not everyone accepts the Theory of Evolution. There is a group of people who believe in the literal truth of the bible. These people call themselves creationists, and they believe that the creation chapters of the book of Genesis are accurate accounts of the actual events in the history of the universe. According to Creation Theory, everything in the universe was made by God in the six literal days of the creation week. This includes the creation of first human beings, Adam and Eve, from whom all human beings are descended. The creation theory explains the origin of living things, and their variety, rather simply. Each plant and animal was specially designed and placed on the earth a few thousand years ago by the Creator: God.
