The issue of creation has been very controversial over the past 50 years. Natural selection and creationism are the two major ideas on how life began. Each of these ideas has its believable facts, but only one side can be proven with scientific proof and the other with just ideas.
Darwin’s theory of evolution is called natural selection. The theory of natural selection is the process by which populations respond to their environment as individuals better adapted to the environment leave more offspring than those individuals not suited to the environment. In 1831 Darwin traveled to the Galapagos Islands and saw the fossils of extinct armadillos, and plants that were similar to those living armadillos on the coast of South America. What this probably means is that maybe one day the two similar armadillos were once one species on the same land.
