CPR: My First Time...

Winter Wonderland

Sitting in the technology lab at Pascack Hills High School I notice that none of my classmates are listening to our lecture about circuits, but rather staring at the winter wonderland unfolding outside. The lecture is interrupted by the hum of the public announcement system, and in anticipation of an early dismal announcement our heads all peek up, for an incredible let down, when we were informed that we will not be having an early dismissal. With severe disappointment in place we all began to once again stare at the now four inches of snow accumulated outside the classroom window, when another interruption is heard.
The piercing whales and beeps of my emergency medical services pager fills the room, as I hear the dispatcher call out our emergency, “Park Ridge Fire Rescue and Tri-Boro Ambulance general alarm, overturned motor vehicle on Brea Boulevard with entrapment.
