Copyright law is one of the many liabilities of ISP’s; it is related to a larger area of intellectual properties. The basic function of Internet can be considered as content provider therefore ISP’s can be considered as provider of content online. Lately the copyright law seems to be a concern for every one as in the digital context the distribution and copying of material is very easy. The content provided online could be related to any area and country. ISP’s are liable for copyright infringements because it can be used as a medium by any customer to exchange or provide any type of -information. Most of the ISP’s provide services like forums, chat rooms, discussion boards email and newsrooms; the services are based on exchanging and providing information. These services imposed some potential liabilities on ISP’s.
