Contrasting "Anthem" & "1984"

In view of the fact that, Anthem by Ayn Rand, and 1984 by George Orwell, together these two books have some definite similarities, but the one that attracts the readers most is that they can’t express their emotions in any kind of form. In Anthem the males are not allowed to talk to the females. In contrast in 1984, males were allowed to talk to females, but were not allowed to have any kind of feelings towards them whatsoever.
Now to understand the book, and to explain it more, in Anthem neither males nor females are allowed to possess names instead they go by a word and followed by numbers. “Our name is Equality 7-2521.” (Pg.13 Rand). Even though this is a book it is very much similar to real life, despite the fact that we have names, the government knows everyone by their social securities, which are also numbers. “For men are forbidden to take notice...
