Conjoined

Theme of “Conjoined: A Marriage Poem”
Whenever two people marry they have formed a relationship together. In order to have what is a comfortable marriage where there is not fighting, there is understanding, love, and communication, both sides have to give and take. In the poem “Conjoined” by Judith Minty, I feel that the women is writing the poem and she is talking about a terrible marriage. The woman is upset about her husband not seeing the fact that the marriage is not as pleasant as it seems.
When two people marry, they form a bond that needs to support the two of the. In the poem it starts out
“The onion in my cupboard, a monster, actually
