Computer – A computer would be a great benefit. Endless different tasks can be performed; some include writing letters, using desktop publishing to create posters, and creating a spreadsheet to help manage finances. All of the inputs through the mouse, keyboard, microphone etc are changed into data that, particularly in the case of the keyboard, is displayed on the monitor.

A computer would be beneficial to the family because it would allow them to quickly and easily perform tasks that may take longer by hand, such as writing a letter, as they would be able to set up time-saving standard letter templates.
