Objectives:-

The purpose of this experiment is to show how the rate of a particular reaction may be measured and to study the effect of changing the concentration of a reactant upon the rate of a reaction.



Introduction:-

The rate of a chemical reaction is the time required for a change of some properties such as concentration, volume, pressure, etc. More sensible exemplification for a reaction rate is the change in concentration per unit time, either the decrease of concentration per unit time of a reactant or the increase of concentration per unit time of a product. If the concentration of any reactant in a solution is increased, the rate of reaction is increased. As a result of increasing the probability of a collision between reactant particles because there are more of them in the same volume.
