Compare/Contrast/Anilyzation of Stuff and yeah... To kill a mocking bird, and Metamorphosis

In Harper Lee’s “To Kill A Mockingbird” the reader is introduced to a man named Atticus. After reading this literary work, the reader can describe Atticus as being a kind hearted, virtuous man, who looks out for the best interest of his family and others.
However, in Franz Kafka’s “Metamorphosis” we are introduced to a rather brash and misanthropic character that is informally called Gregor’s father (a.k.a.: Mr. Samsa) until the end of the literary work.
These characters are extremely adverse in comparison as well as the situations that they undergo. The only common ground that these adverse characters share is that they both have families that need to be provided for. How they go about providing for their families, while still maintaining reasonable level heads, are two different situations entirely.
