Imagine going to a football game and hearing 70,000 screaming fans all doing the same chant. “Woo Pig Sooie, Woo Pig Sooie, Woo Pig Sooie Razorbacks.” It is an amazing sight to see all of the togetherness and tradition at the University of Arkansas. Besides all of the tradition, it is highly academic, has amazing athletics, and is one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation.
In years past, the University of Arkansas has not been known as an academic institution. That has changed over the last couple of years with the arrival of a new Chancellor, John White. Dr. White was hired away from Georgia Tech University where he also elevated their academic status. Since his arrival, the University of Last year, 2002, Arkansas was been named to the Princeton Review’s Best 331 Colleges, placing it among the top eight percent of the nation’s institutions of higher learning.
