Colorado Vs. Mexico

“Please prepare for landing.” I heard the captain say as my plane slowly transcended below cloud level. I saw mountains in the distance; snow covered and plain. It looked frigid and somewhat deserted. I thought about the month before when the mountains were filled with jungle and palm trees, and the ocean engulfed the shore. At that moment I realized that Denver, Colorado and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico were different in many ways.
