Living with roommates in college dorms does not work out as often as it fails. More people report unhappy relationships with their roommates than they do the opposite. Even a search for "college roommates" via the internet will reveal hundreds of sites with titles along the lines of "How to annoy your college roommate" while there rarely exist any sites that contain positive feelings towards roommates.

Not getting along with your roommate is anything but new to college students especially freshmen. The first year of college brings new obstacles, one of them being sharing a room with a complete stranger.

Suzan Najem, a freshman student who is currently living in the AUB dorms and is sharing a room with a random roommate is finding it an extremely unpleasant experience. "I can't wait until the semester finishes for me to move out," she said "me and the girl cannot possibly get along. We have different sleeping habits, neatness, interests!"
