College Tuition Should be paid for by the Taxpayers

In almost every presidential election in this great country, the United States of America, there is always controversy over our tax situation and the growth of our educational system. However, there are never any real solutions presented to resolve these “problems”. Most taxpayers don’t know what happens to the money that is debited from their checks. For instance, when I saw my first paycheck I looked at it and said aloud, “Who is FICA? And why do they see more of my money than I do?” A plan to pay for college tuition from taxes is a perfect solution to two of the most controversial issues in all-major debates, taxes and education. There would be reassurance for taxpayers who cannot see their money working for them directly, because they would know their money would benefit them in the long run. Moreover, you have thousands of high school graduates who would have an opportunity to attend college. It’s a win-win situation! Therefore, taxpayers should pay for college tuition...
