In the last quarter of the twentieth century, there has been a serious change to the families. Generally speaking, the family in western advanced industrial societies is in "Free Fall". The families are collapsing in various ways for certain reasons. First of all, the collapse of the family is due to advances in contraception and the immense number of population preferred to stay single. The previous effects the number of birth and the latter ended up reducing the marriage rate together with the rising number of babies born outside marriage¡£Comparing the marital birth in 1961 and in 1998 in the United Kingdom, you can see that the number has halved (Office for National Statistics) which now is 38% in the UK out of all births. In the 1960s the increase in sex outside marriage resulted in a sharp rise in the extramarital birth.
