The Semi-Formal was next week, and Jason still didn’t have a date. There’s a girl he’s wanted to ask for a while, but he hasn’t built up enough courage to actually do it. One would describe Jason as being a bit of a nerd, but he wasn’t bad looking at all. The only thing he was lacking was confidence. Brittany, Jason’s crush, could definitely be considered as being high on the popularity scale, but for some reason she didn’t have a date either. As Jason and his best friend Patrick were on their way to class, they noticed Brittany was standing at her locker. No one else was around, so Jason figured this was as good a time as any to give it a shot.
