A. Cleopatra was born in 69 B.C.
B. She was the daughter of Ptolemy XII who was the current King of Egypt. Her mother, who was also Ptolemy’s sister died shortly after Cleopatra was born.
II. Queen of the Nile
A. Cleopatra became The Queen of the Egypt in 51 B.C. following the death of her father. Not long after she became queen she fell in love with Caesar and had a love affair with him.
