Christmas at the Millers’

The time before Christmas is a tremendous event for my family, especially my father. My family decides to go to Robar Tree Farm the week before Christmas to cut that ideal tree. Last year it was a cold day. The wind chill dropped well below zero; it seems to get colder as years progress. We shivered with our scarves wrapped to the top of our necks trying to fight the breeze. We ventured off into the miles of well nourished pine trees. My father yelling from behind, “Come on, kids. It has to be perfect.” My sisters and I nodded our heads, “Here dad goes again.” As we walked farther into the tree valley, my father had a glow on his face it seemed like he just seen an angel. “This is the one, this is it” he stated.
