Choosing a college

High school was almost over for me. I had to decide what I wanted to do with the next few years of my life. Some of my friends were going off to college, others to the military, and a few decided to enter the job market right away. My mother and I had a long discussion of my goals for life and we decided that it would be best if I went to college. It was time to look for a school where I could continue my education.
I began my search in the guidance office of my high school. My counselor told me about all the local and distant colleges that I could attend. All the schools sounded great, so I told her I would talk with my mom and then I would decide. Talking to my mom really helped narrow down the choices.
