In Sierra Leone we saw that local tribes would kidnap children at gunpoint and forced to become child soldiers. The tribes inscribed their mark onto the child so if they tried to escape the people that found them could bring them back. Many of these child solders actually died before they were sent into war, as if they refused to fight and kill people they would be shot on the spot. They were given cocaine before they were sent into the battle field so they were not afraid to kill, and after wards they were given cannabis to calm them down. Many of these children were rapped.
