Chinese New Year

Introduction

I Have you been in China? Have you been heard about Lunar New Year? Millions of Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year on Lunar New Year each year. There are similar celebrations in Japan, Korea, and Vietnam known as the Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival. As Thanksgiving and Christmas are the most important holidays to Americans, the Chinese New Year is the most important holiday to Chinese.
II Today I would share with you some information about Chinese New Year.
III Long ago the current emperor determined the start of the New Year. It uses the first day of the first month of the Lunar Year as the start of Chinese New Year.
The holiday is the most important and interesting to Chinese people.
IV Today I am going to introduce why Chinese celebrate the Lunar New Year, then how to celebrate it, and some interesting stories.
