China’s One Child Policy
China’s extremely high population has put extreme pressures on natural resources and therefore the people and the government. To combat this population crisis the Government have taken away it’s own citizens human rights by introducing ‘The One Child Policy’. It has decreased the national birth rate and brought some benefits to the country, however the policy doesn’t seem to consider the social consequences.

For people who obey the one child policy the government provides incentives to families, such as, superior medical care and education. They are also given allocation of housing and land, also larger pensions.
