Child Abuse

Child abuse is any injury to a child from physical abuse, neglect, sexual abuse,
and emotional abuse. Physical abuse can be hitting, biting, shaking, choking, kicking,
burning, and throwing objects at the child. Each year over 4,000 children die from
physical abuse, most children under the age of 2 yrs. Neglect is not providing for the
childs life, like food, clothing, shelter, medical attention, and supervision. Sexual abuse
is sexual contact, including incest, rape, and inappropriate touching. Most sexually
