In today’s fast paced and demanding world, it is easy to get consumed with work, responsibilities and other distractions in life. If one is not careful to recognize when he or she is getting too involved with these aspects and take time to balance life with a mix of pleasure and responsibility, our devotion may become directed to insignificant effects, and before we know it life will pass us by. After all, what is life with out memories of good times and time spent with loved ones? This was the case with Mr. Khanh. Fortunately Mr. Khanh was able to recognize this concept before it was too late, unlike Mr. Chinh who no longer had time on his side.
If we do not take time to pause and enjoy life, we become like a machine on automatic. We go through the motions, with out feeling. When this happens, we can lose our identities and become numb.
