The objective of this lab was to practice proper lab safety and learn how some elements react with fire. For the lab a crucible, tongs, eye dropper, a cooling tray with cover, crucible cover, blue looking chemical that is harmful to your skin, a ceramic triangle, tower looking thing, a round holder for the ceramic triangle, a Bunsen burner, propane, safety glasses, and a safety apron will be needed. First place the ceramic triangular thing on the round thing, which is tightened to the tower looking thing, next turn on the gas – your teacher may be needed to do this, then turn on your Bunsen burner, next carefully adjust the round thing on the tower thing, so that when you place the crucible - with it’s cove...
