Character Summary of To Kill a Mockingbird

In retrospect I found that I definitely enjoyed reading about Dill’s antics the most. I found him to be an exceptionally fascinating persona. He’s not your average, Tom, Dick or Harry character, but a young boy with a broken family, who escapes his troubles by literally escaping. He’s a natural, sanguine storyteller, at one point during the book he’s engaged to Scout, but sometimes forgets it. He weaves some far-out tales about his family. He’s the one who develops the plans to try and lure Boo from his abode. All in all, He’s particularly interesting because Dill and his actions are food for thought…what would I do in his shoes? Would I run away? I found him a remarkably intricate and complex individual, especially for such a young person.
