Character Of Miranda

Miranda’s character in relation with Prospero:
Miranda was Prospero’s daughter. Prospero was the duke of milan but his younger brother Antonio usurped the throne from him with the help of the king of naples, Alonso, Prospero’s sworn enemy. As a result of this Prospero and Miranda, not even 3 years old then, had to flee to the island with the help of Gonzalo who gave Prospero his magical books, clothes, food etc. They had been living there now for over 12 years. Miranda had a deep love for prospero, He was her guiding figure. She had the utmost respect for him and would never contradict him. Prospero tutored her for the 12 years and gave her more education than any other princess could get. Though he tutored her for so long, Miranda was still ver innocent and had no idea of her past. The sight of the ship caught in the Tempest touches her heart
and she begs prospero to stop it. This brings out the sympathetic and loving nature of her heart to all creature...
