Changing Values in American Society

Throughout many centuries, American society has changed, along with the change in society the values of the society have changed. Not every value has changed in American society but many of them have. Some vales that have changed in American society include the values of hard-work, money, family, parents, life, happiness, love, and many others. As the values have changed, many have changed for the worst, but their are some values that have changed for the better. The writer of this paper contends that the value of hard work has changed in American society. This can be seen by examining the books: The American Dream, Raisin in the Sun, and Death of a Salesman.
The change in the value of hard work can been seen in the book The American Dream, when you find the young man will do any type of work easy or hard just for a little money.
