Changing perspective

How has your understanding of the consequences of change been shaped by the techniques used by various composers?

From studying such texts as Melina Marchetta’s Looking for Alibrandi, The Door written by Miroslav Holub’s, feature article Greeks Bearing gifts The Weekend Australian 16 - 17th December by Luke Slattery and the prescribed image my understanding of the consequences of change are that once it has taken place it is inevitable that a chain reaction is set of and many other contributing factors will be affected, the possible outcomes are endless.
In Looking for Alibrandi we see due to her relationships her perception of her social class is changed. In the beginning of the novel she ‘felt disadvantaged from the beginning’ her tone sounding very pitiful and underprivileged reinforces her emotions. Her relationships with John Barton juxtaposed to Jacob Coote helps her develop and tests her character. Josie is ‘opened up to this whole new world out there’ her tone...
