Changes I saw in Bombay within the last 15 years

I visited my parent’s hometown Bombay after a gap of at least 12 years. Wherever I went there were surprises stored for me. I would look around rubbing my eyes in amazement, I was debating to myself if it was the same place I visited 12 years ago. I had come from America and it did seem like it was going be just like it.
I remember my dad showing me his old school where he had studied. I was still there, but they made a bigger building out of it with a lush green park to its front and back. There were more hospitals and post-offices for people’s convenience. Poor localities now had electricity. Roads were brighter than ever with more street lighting. More parks were constructed for civilians. More public schools were started, the government had primary education was made compulsory for all children despite of their social status.
