Change in the American Revolution/Early National Period

If I could make changes to any event which occurred in this time period, I would only make small changes in the constitution which really have little effect on the world today, but would create a stronger national bond than the one created after the war. The changes I would make are to make English the national language and to make the turkey the national bird.
