Change in perspective

Change. Its something we all deal with at some stage in our lives. But why do we change? What is it that makes us think about things or see things differently?. I don’t know. But I do know what the changes that we make in our lives are decisions that we usually have to live with for the rest of our lives.

It is often that the changes we make are the results of the actions or words of others. If someone does something to you or says something that you do not necessarily agree with, you often change your mind about that person. It is often that friendships and relationships are ended this way. An example of this is in the Book ‘Cosi’, written by Lewis Nowra. Lewis, the central character, realizes that his ‘best mate’, Nick, has been sleeping with his girlfriend Lucy. Rather than going crazy and going on a mass homocide attack (as often shown in movies), Lewis almost dismisses the incident, and puts all his effort into the play that he has been working on with patients from ...
