Cause Of Homelessness

The main character of my book is Elie (Eliezar). He is also the narrator. He is 15 years old and he was taken to a Nazi concentration camp. He is a very religious little boy. He is devoted to his father. Another character is Elie’s father (Chlomo). His is a storeowner and a well-respected Jewish leader in Sighet before the deportation of the Jews. He is 50 years old. Moshe the Beadle is a poor humble man in the town of Sighet who becomes Elie’s spiritual mentor and friend. Moche is well liked by all the townspeople. Dr. Mengele is a cold, unaffected Nazi officer. He decides who lives to work another day and who is sent to their deaths at the crematory. Tzipora is Elie’s 7-year-old sister. She dies in the concentration camp.
