Cause and Effect Essay: Selling Drugs

Red and Blue lights flashing, a loud siren whaling, people scattering away to get away from the flashing lights, like a dog chasing away a herd of cattle. This is the stereotypical life of a drug dealer. This is what drug dealers so call “work”. Work meaning a job where money is made selling drugs to whomever chooses to buy their products. It is hard to differentiate which is worse, the causes or effects of selling drugs.
The causes of selling drugs are the desperate need for money in most cases. They think they can get rich overnight and that will solve their problems. Most of the “ghetto” drug dealers happen to grow up in that type environment all their life and they tend to pick it up. Selling is believed by the drug dealers as the easiest and quickest way to make money. It has become a trend for some people. Selling may be easy and fast, but it carries many consequences in return.
