Cathy Ames' Only Possession

Cathy Ames possesses one very obvious, unmistakable trait: evilness. Cathy’s malicious intentions are evident in everything she does. What quickly brings us to realize she is evil is her ability to deceive and manipulate others and how she has no conscience after committing all of the several horrid acts she did that a human would see as wrong immediately after.
From the time Cathy was a child right up to her death, she chose to speak of lies to hide her true personality and venomous tactics. When Cathy was pregnant, she attempted to abort her pregnancy with a knitting needle and when negatively confronted by the doctor who had realized this, she mislead him by lying that her family had a history of epilepsy and she feared of passing the disease on to her children.
