Catholic belief about the Eucharist

I think Catholic belief about the Eucharist is "Make present the death of Christ"

We call the Eucharist a meal because Paul called it a supper and Jesus spoke of it as food and drink. And Eucharist's elements are food and drink. The Church's coming together for worship in the Eucharist and other sacraments to make present once again the saving words and deeds of Christ is called Liturgy. The Liturgy of the Mass is divided into principal parts. They are Liturgy of the Word, Liturgy of the Eucharist. Sign of the Cross, Penitential rite and Recitation of the creed are part of the liturgy of the word.
