The death penalty is the ultimate punishment for committing only the most serious of crimes where the criminals own life is taken in return. Different groups of people have different views on capital punishment to wither the death penalty is a suitable method of dealing with criminals. I will cover the views of different religions. I will look into the facts of how capital punishment has affected the country and wither capital punishment has proven to be a successful method to punish people. I will also be looking at the ways criminals are exterminated and the humane and inhumane methods. I will go over the different arguments for and against capital punishment and the other options that are available than capital punishment. I will be covering some past incidents where people have been wrongfully executed. My aim of this essay is to prove that capital punishment is not the ideal method of dealing with criminals.
