Can Money Buy Happiness?
In October of 2003, MTV aired the first ever episode of a show called Rich Girls which is a reality series that follows two young, wealthy girls throughout their daily life. The first time I saw the advertisement for this show I have to admit, I was pretty appalled. Who would ever want to watch a show about two rich, stuck up girls going on thousand dollar shopping sprees while they prance around in their chauffeured limo? Well, I guess I was one of those people. I didn’t want to watch it at first, but I was almost drawn into it.
