There are many themes in the play Macbeth. One of the most strong ones in my opinion would be “Power does not always equal up to happiness.” In most part of the play Macbeth had power. When he was a general he had power in the army. When he was king he had power over everyone in his kingdom. Although not once after he became king and started killing people did you see him truly happy. Of course he tried to hide his misery but you could see the anger and pain inside of him. ...
