Budgeting (monroe motivated Squence)

Proposition: The people need to budget their money for a better future.

1) Attention: Pretend you are with your friends at Taco Bell, when you come up to the cashier you order two chicken quesadillas and the cashier tells you your total. You go and reach in your money and you noticed that you only have $2.30 which can only get you one quesadilla. The money that you did take out of your paycheck is now gone to something useless. You’re wondering where that money went probably.
A little less then half of the class said no or you kind of when I asked them if they budget their money.
I’m going to tell you why and how you should budget your money and why the people doing it aren’t and remember that "Money is a good servant, but a bad master."
