Brave New World

A Literary Classic
Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World is considered one of the world’s greatest literary works. Huxley is a gifted author, who was one of the most accomplished and influential English literary figures of the mid-twentieth century.
Brave New World is a stunning look into the future of mankind, Huxley’s view of the society of the future is rather far-fetched for his time, but in comparison to George Orwell’s 1984. The two books had striking similar ideas in the view of the future, both contained totalitarianism governments who controlled the population through technology and manipulation. In the book babies are born in factories and developed in the same way one would produce a consumer product. During the child’s development they were given a career and a caste designation.
