The young lady brought him his drink and asked him what brought him to
the tavern that day. They began having a long conversation. Maltry
began to tell her about when he was in one of the Schalan slave camps.
The young lady replied that she had been in Schal at that time. She
told him that she used to talk to a young boy in a slave camp all the
time and that she would bring him apples daily.

Maltry arched his eyebrow and asked if this boy was of normal height,
skinny and of elven stock, she replied yes. Once they had both realized
whom they were speaking to Maltry asked on the spot if she would marry
him. He said that he would never let her go again.
