It's was the 1930s, and money was hard to find. People were miserable. Families
were moving out of their houses and forced to cram into their friends' and families'
houses to make ends meets. Many of the people cursed at the President and other cigar

smoking politicians. But in the middle of all this there were two outlaws in love and on a


killing spree in the middle of the nation's depression that have nothing to live for but

each other. Many people liked the fact that the was somebody standing up to the

government, police and the banks that had kicked them out of their houses, closed their

stores and basically screwed up the rest of their lives.

Bonnie was born in the tiny town of Rowena, Texas on October 1, 1910.
Boinnies's father died in 1914,and after that it was hard for her mother to make enough
money for bonnie and her two siblings. When Bonnie was small she was terrified of guns
