Blue Remembered Hills is a naturalistic play set in West Country during the 1940’s the play takes place in the summer; therefore the majority of scenes are set outside. The dialogue used in the play is very realistic. There are seven characters in the play and I’m going to focus on how I would play the role of one of them called Angela.

Angela is a pretty seven year old girl with ‘ringlet curls and blue ribbons’, very un-like to Audrey who is ‘plain, with a cheap owl-like framed glasses’. Angela is definitely the more feminine one of the two girls. She is also the most dominant character out of the three c...
